Remember to Comment!

A sharp eye can spot mistakes even in forbidden documents. Aleksander Temkin managed to spot an error in my Cult of the Possessed and for that I thank him!

The main reason this page is done as blog (other than my frustration on writing a web page) is the ability to comment on things. So please, always remember to give comment when you think you have something to say. This page is for the whole community. Not just for my ego-boost.

Download the updated version of Cult of the Possessed HERE as a pdf.

I would also like to remind you that the Daily Empire’s Tumblr blog is active and updated almost on daily basis. Check out inspirational art for your WFRP games and submit things you like HERE.

Question for the users

After thinking a while for what this blog is about I wanted to ask You about one thing. This blog is aimed to serve as an inspirational blog for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplaying game. I have been heavily involved with the fan-scene of WFRP since the publication of 3rd edition (Fantasy Flight Games’) though my personal work has always been done with all editions in mind.

Lately I have been mostly working on my own gaming system and what comes along with it. Parts from this progress have been introduced here and now I am not sure if it contradicts the purpose of the Daily Empire.

So I would like to know what the users of the blog see fit. Should I put up another blog for my own, non-WFRP stuff (I assure you it is NOT a big problem) or should I post them here?

Both options work for me, though I can assure you that I will not be silenced and WILL post about the progress somewhere anyway.

Thus I present you with this poll and wait for your honest answers.

Rekindling an Old Flame

After almost two years since our last campaign with WFRP was buried in silence for the lack of interest I have found myself toying about starting a new campaign with new players. The the past year and a half I have been writing Eldritch Sigils and have not paid a lot of thought to Warhammer. And still I find myself visiting the StS and FFG forum almost daily. I haven’t been quite active but I have been there. Lurking in the shadows sot to speak.

As the summer draws more near starting a new campaign sounds more and more right.

We have just begun a new fantasy campaign with Sigils and I hope it will be great. But as the system of Eldritch Sigils has more to do with narrating the outcomes and completing stories I think I need a counter balance with more complicated fighting and books you can browse through.

I have considered Pathfinder, waiting for the next edition of D&D and would love to run One Ring if it would be less tied with Middle-Earth. But the lure of Warhammer might just be too hard to resist…

Having send an email to couple of friends I have not played in a while I can do little but wait to hear their responses. Hopefully we’ll get the gaming going before it’s winter again…
